Lupinus albicaulis
Erect plant, flowers on upright stem above leaves. Silky hairs cover the foliage. Leaves palmately divided into 5–10 leaflets. Flower spike 4–15 in. long, loosely arranged, dull white, purple, or yellow, keel strongly upward-curving, tip pointing up through petals. Grows on open dry slopes in foothills and mountains.
